Itinerary

📅 Day 1: Drive to Sankri | Distance: ~200 km | Time: 7–8 hrs | Altitude: 1,950 m

• Early morning departure from Dehradun or your designated pickup point.
• Scenic drive through Mussoorie, Purola, and Mori, crossing terraced fields, pine forests, and river valleys.
• Enter Govind Pashu Vihar Wildlife Sanctuary; spot occasional Himalayan Monal or Koklass Pheasant along the way.
• Arrive at Sankri village, the gateway to Har Ki Dun trek.
• Overnight stay at guesthouse; organize trekking gear and acclimatize.

📅 Day 2: Drive to Gangad – Trek to Seema | Distance: 10 km | Time: 4–5 hrs | Altitude: 2,500 m

• Drive early morning to Gangad village, located along the Supin River.
• Begin trek along gentle trails through dense pine, deodar, and oak forests.
• Cross streams and small wooden bridges; spot wildflowers like blue poppies, primulas, and rhododendrons in spring.
• Arrive at Seema, a remote village with traditional Himalayan wooden houses and terraced farmland.
• Overnight stay in tents at Seema campsite, surrounded by forest and mountain views.

📅 Day 3: Trek from Seema to Seematra | Distance: 8 km | Time: 5–6 hrs | Altitude: 3,200 m

• Ascend steadily through mixed forests, open meadows, and rolling hills.
• Cross Kalkatiyadhar, a small glacial-fed stream with footbridges and mossy banks.
• Look out for Himalayan fauna including musk deer tracks and Himalayan Monal sightings.
• Trek offers increasing views of Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, Kalanag, and Black Peak.
• Camp at Seematra, a high-altitude meadow with panoramic vistas and serene surroundings.

📅 Day 4: Trek to Har Ki Dun Valley & back | Distance: 14 km | Time: 7–8 hrs | Altitude: 3,566 m

• Full-day trek to the heart of Har Ki Dun valley, known as the 'Valley of the Gods'.
• Walk through lush alpine meadows, scattered boulders, and glacial streams.
• Spectacular views of snow-capped peaks: Swargarohini (6,252 m), Bandarpoonch (6,316 m), and Kalanag (6,387 m).
• Observe alpine flora such as primulas, rhododendrons, and gentians; possible sighting of Himalayan Monal, Koklass Pheasant, and Himalayan Tahrs.
• Return to Seematra campsite for overnight stay.

📅 Day 5: Trek to Gangad – Drive to Sankri | Distance: 10 km | Time: 4–5 hrs | Altitude: 1,950 m

• Descend gently through mixed forests and meadows back to Gangad village.
• Experience Osla village, its wooden houses, terraced fields, and centuries-old temples dedicated to local deities.
• Drive down to Sankri for overnight stay in guesthouse.
• Evening walk around Sankri village; interact with locals and learn about Himalayan traditions.

📅 Day 6: Departure from Sankri to Dehradun | Distance: ~200 km | Time: 7–8 hrs

• Morning drive back to Dehradun through terraced valleys, pine and oak forests, and scenic river basins.
• End of trek with unforgettable memories of pristine valleys, alpine meadows, rich biodiversity, and Himalayan culture.
